Scoresheet with the heading of Delnicky klub sachistu v Pardubicich (= Workers chess club in Pardubice), from the simul of master Karel Opocensky. Written in Pitharts hand, dated April 11, 1935. Size 23.5 x 15.5 cm. The scoresheet is not signed. Good: light/some general signs of use. Karel Opocensky won the game in 31 moves. Biographical data: Frantisek Pithart, 1915-2003, Czech master and noted trainer. One of the best Czech players after wws. He often participated in the finals of Czechoslovak championships. He reprezented Czechoslovakia in the chess olympiad Helsinki 1952 and in European team chamionship 1957. Author of many books and articles. Karel Opocensky, 1892-1975, strong chess master, writer, author of several books. His best years were 1920s and 1930s: 4 times Czechoslovak champion (1927, 1929, 1938, 1944). He took part in chess olympiads 1931, 1933, 1935 and 1939. At the 1933 chess olympiad made Opocensky 12,5 points of 14 and helped to the 2nd place of the Czechoslovak te. (2x real photo). Code #6608.
