Fricis Apsenieks, 1894-1941 (known also as Franz Apscheneek) was one of the best Latvian players in 1920s and 1930s. The book brings his chess biography with ca 50 annotated games, many photos, crosstables of his tournaments etc. Apsenieks was Latvian chempion in 1926, he played for Latvia in all 7 chess olympiads from 1928 to 1939. Low edition, reputedly 300 copies but this is not stated in the book
