Tournament book of the strong tournament in Pasadena 1932 presents all 54 today known games of 66 played. The winner was Aljechin with 8.5 of 11, followed by Kashdan 7.5, then Dake, Reshevsky, H. Steiner, .. Fine, .. etc., 12 players round robin. All games are annotated, accompanied by many photos in text, by history of the tournament, round summaries, crosstables, indexes etc. Also includes the fascinating story unearthed by Bruce Monson of Lavieve Hines, a very strong young female player who was likely the strongest American female chessplayer up to that time, though almost totally forgotten today.
