The games are annotated by authors and by other strong Czech players like Navara, Laznicka, Vokac, Simacek etc. The games are mostly from recent years, up to the Carlsen-Karjakin match in 2016. The openings listed are Ruy Lopez (130 pages), Italian complex (50p), The Scotch (40p), Kings Gambit (35p), then Vienna, Petroff and also less common openings. This is not a reprint or updated edition of the book Moderni zahajeni, which was published in 2010. This is quite new book with new games.
