This first volume consists of one big chapter called Vnimanie k vozmozhnostyam sopernika (Attention to possibilities of your opponent). After theoretical explanation follow 180 samples for solution. The main part of the book are detailed solutions and explantions of these samples. Mark Dvoretski presents samples from his own card-index file, which he uses for trainings of his sudents - it means that most diagrams are different from those published in his former books.
