Author examines the lines where White does not play 3.d4 or 3.Bb5, as well as the sidelines of White in the 2nd move. The Closed Sicilian Sicilan 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3 Nc6 with variations 3.g3, 3.Bb5, 3.f4, 3.Nge2 is analysed on ca 50 pages. The other 50 pages takes the line 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3 Nc6 3.Nf3 e5. About a half of the book deals with the lines that arise in the 2nd move after 2.a3, 2.b4, 2.Na3, 2.d4, 2.b3, 2.c4, 2.g3, 2.d3, 2.c3, 2.f4.
