Title: A Cunning Chess Opening for Black |
|
Opening 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 e5 from Black’s point of view. Analysis of 4.dxe5 dxe5 5.Qxd8+ Kxd8 is on first 75 pages. Although this variation look very good for White, it is well playable with Black - even some players with 2600+ have it in their repertoire. Most of the book examines the Philidor Defence after 4.Nf3 Nbd7 5.Bc4 Be7 6.0-0 0-0 7.Re1 with all sidelines played by White (and sometimes by Black, too) in the 5th, 6th and 7th moves. Also variations 4.f3 and 4.Nge2 are analyzed in two small separate chapters. Index of players and variations in the end.
