The book is for Black repertoire after 1.e4 e6. Author examines all possibilities of White and analyzes following lines: after 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 Bb4 and if 4.e5 then 4..Qd7 or 4..b6 followed by Dd7 etc. Also other lines than 4.e5 are analyzed. After 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nd2 c5 and when 4.exd5, then Dxd5. After 3.e5 c5 4.c3 Nc6 5.Nf3 Bd7.
