The book is intended for Black repertoire. The author analyzes all continuations after 1.e4 c5, where White avoids the main Sicilian lines, that is, he does not continue 2.Nf3 followed by 3.d4. The book analyzes all of White's continuations in move 2, including variants such as the Grand Prix Attack (2.f4), the Morra Gambit 2.d4 cxd4 3.c3, the Alapin-Sveshnikov variant 2.c3, the closed Sicilian 2.Nc3, including the Vinken System 2. Nc3 Nc6 3.f4 and the Chameleon 2.Nc3 Nc6 3.Nge2, and Rossolimo 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Nb5.
