The book is the first part of a trilogy, in which Judit Polgar, born 1976 and considered as the best woman player in history, describes her chess career. This first volume covers the period till 1991, when Judit in age of 15 years and 5 months became a Grandmaster, one month earlier than Bobby Fischer. The book contains many deeply annotated games and games fragments from Judits practice, as well as important moments of her career. Material is divided into 15 chapters by themes like A Lead in Development, Attacking the King, Pawn Play, Memorable Games etc. and the book can be also used as a manual for intermediate and stronger player.
