This first volume contains more than 50 deeply annotated Beliavsky's games from beginning of his chess career up to 1981. As usual, the games are accompanied by a comprehensive interview with Beliavsky. Compared to other books of the series that have about 120 pages, this is almost doubled. Similarly, the second volume that covers the period after 1981, will have about 240 pages. In the 2-volume work, there will be a total of 115 annotated games.
