The unofficial Olympiad in Munich was organized by the German government, not FIDE, and is therefore considered unofficial and politically controversial. Some countries have not participated, such as the United States or the United Kingdom. 21 countries took part, matches were played on 8 boards, in all 1680 games. Hungary won in ahead of Poland, Germany, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia. This book brings everything that has been preserved to date - a total of 612 games and fragments collected from various sources, match results, crosstable, indexes of players and openings.
