Kosice 1918 was strong international tournament. 12 players round robin, 66 games in all - but only less than half of the games are known today. The book contains 15 well annotated games with notes from various contemporary sources, history of the tournament, biographical information about participants, round summaries, some articles from contemporary papers, crosstables, indexes. The winner was Reti 10 of 11 ahead of Vidmar 8, Schlechter and Breyer 7,5, followed by Asztalos, Gruenfeld, Balla, Mieses, Havasi, Brach, Balogh and Foldes.
