The third volume is for after-beginners and focuses on chess tactics. The level of difficulty ranges from two-move checkmates, through three-move checkmates, to less complicated 4-5 move combinations. What are the basic elements of the combinations? What is the power of the individual pieces? What are the most important ideas of combinations and how to use them correctly? These and many other questions about tactics, King attacks and combination gains are answered in the book in a playful way with numerous examples and practice, illustrations and lots of pictures. The author is a successful coach and has been working with young people for a long time. The book focuses on tactics and is intended for after-beginners. It contains an explanation and more than 200 examples to practice, arranged by topic, as shown in Figures 2 and 3.
