Author analyzes two popular variations of the Ruy Lopez. After the introductory 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 a6 4.Ba4 Nf6 5.0-0 Be7 6.Re1 b5 7.Bb3 0-0 8.h3 d6 9.c3, the first part of the book deals with the Breyer variation 9..Nb8 (about 120 pages) and in the second part examines the Zaitsev system 9..Bb7 10.d4 Re8 (ca 230 pages). It is not a repertoire book, according to the author's words in the preface, both sides may profit from the analyzes. Figures 2 and 3 show the first two pages of a total of 10-page content. Author is strong GM and trainer, 10x Greek Champion. He wrote ca 15 books, among them a pentalogy Kotronias on the King's Indian 1-5, The Safest Scandinavian (3..Dd6), The Sicilian Sveshnikov and others.
