GM Efstratios Grivas is an expert on this line of Sicilian Defence - 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 Qb6, he has the variation for decades in his repertoire. A book on this system was published by GM Grivas in 2005 by Gambit (144 pages in a smaller format), this new version contains several times more material. Pictures 2-7 show contents of the book. The positions arising from this variation are mostly related to the Scheveningen Sicilian, but there are both tactical and strategic differences. The system with Qb6 is an interesting alternative for all who do not like study long variations of the classic Sicilian.
