Imre Koenig, 1901-1992, was strong Hungarian master, his best results were between wars in 1920s and 1930s. For example in the Prague 1931 Olympiad he scored +5, -1, =2. Koenig lived in Hungary, Austria, Yugoslavia, France. In 1938, he emigrated to England and in 1953, to the US. The book contains a biography and 294 chronollogically arranged games, of which many are annotaed. Also included are ca 25 bw photos, ca 25 crosstables of Koenig’s tournaments, career record, index of player and 6 articles, which wrote Imre Koenig mostly in 1950s. Chess Masters Series no.16.
