The winner of the 3rd chess olympiad in Hamburg 1930 was Poland ahead of Hungary, Germany etc. In all, 612 games were played, of which many ere lost. With 380 games and positions, the book of chess historian Tony Gillam brings the biggest collection of today known games. Many games are well annotated, with notes from contemporary sources. The book includes an article on each of the 18 teams, other information about the olympiad, details of the FIDE meeting, indexes of illustrations, openings and players etc. By the way, the best individual result had Rubinstein with 15 of 17, then Flohr 14,5/17, Kashdan 14/17, among the participants were world champion Aljechin, Marshall, Maroczy, Tartakower and other top players of the time.
