10 grams. The scoresheet is written in Marsalek’s hand, undated. The front side is written in pencil, the back side and Marsalek's signature in pen. Alster's signature is in pencil. Size ca 21 x 15 cm. Good to very good. (Ladislav Alster, 1927-1991, Czechoslovak champion in 1956, a member of team which won world student championship in Oslo 1954, took part in chess olympiad Moscow 1956. Josef Marsalek, 1935-2023, strong Czech player, several times participated in the Czechoslovak championship. He was a member of the team, which won Student World championship in 1954 – his result was 5 of 5. Later he stopped active play. 3x real photo). Code #10962.

10 grams. Ca 13 (length) x 6 cm. The check is very likely the prize in the 1931 New York International Tournament, played April 18-May 3. The table of the tournament won by Capablanca can be found in the third picture. Herman Steiner signed the check in pen on the back. Good to very good: two small traces after folding, else okay. (Herman Steiner, 1905-1955, strong American player, born in Dunajska Streda, todays Slovakia. He won US Open in 1946 and California State Championship in 1945. Steiner played in four Olympiads. (Isador Samuel Turover, 1892-1978, strong American player. He won the Baltimore championship 1918-1921 and the Wahington D. C. chympionship in 1921.
