The London system is characterized by the set-up of d2-d4, Bf4, Nf3, e2-e3, c2-c3, h2-h3, etc. Many books have been written about this opening, which is in the repertoire of top players including world champions (Carlsen, Ding Liren). However, they all (or almost all) deal with how to play the London system with white pieces. However, this book is intended for the Black repertoire and the authors offer several ways to effectively neutralize the London System. Well-known theorist and successful author GM Vassilios Kotronias and long-time trainer GM Mikhail Ivanov analyze a total of four different systems that Black can use against the London System.
