Jan Timman, one of world top players for many years, is fascinated by endgame studies and composes them for all his chess career. His first studies were composed in early 1970s. The book with subtitle My Journeys in the Magical World of Endgame Studies contains 293 studies, sorted by themes into 14 chapters. About 130 studies are composed by Timman himself, the others are by various composers - mostly such, which inspired him for his own work. All studies are annotated and accompanied by extensive comments. All studies are computer-checked.
