Detailed history of chess in a historical Moravian town Olomouc and its surroundings from the beginning to the present; 532 games (of which 100 are correspondence ones) of Olomouc players - Rasovsky, Mohapl, Hofmann, Malcanek, Kubicek, Mokry etc. Most games are annotated; short biographical sketches of Olomouc players; 260 pages(!) of tournament results in Olomouc, Prerov, Jesenik, Sumperk, Prostejov and other county towns from 1899-2017, including ca 200 crosstables; town- and county championships, team tournaments 1927-2017, etc. Separate chapter on chess composition with 84 problems and studies of Olomouc composers - Konrad Bayer, Jan Sevcik, Karel Sobek etc. Large size, about 80 photos.
