Yefim Bogoljubov, (1889-1952), was one of the best players of the first half of the 20th century. He played twice for the world championship against Alekhine, won the USSR championship in 1924 and 1925, won many international tournaments. He emigrated to Germany in 1925. This second volume of Bogdanovich's two-volume work contains, among other things, 191 in detail annotated games and fragments.
