Fortress no.2 is defined as a situation where the Pawns (after castling) are in the position f7, g6, h7, with Bihop on g7 (or f2, g3, h2, Bg2). The authors explain in detail how to attack and how to defend this fortress, and in which openings it occurs. The book contains an explanation with ca 100 annotated games, as well as about 300 examples to solve. In a previously published book called Korolevskaya krepost No.1 the authors discussed positions with pawns f7, g7, h7 (or f2, g2, h2). GM Konstantin Chernyshov, the head of Interregional Grandmaster School in Kostroma, and his daughter IMaster Natalia Kareva are experienced trainers, among their students there are Grandmasters and masters, Russian and European champions among juniors.
