The author explains his repertoire with White pieces against the Scandinavian, Pirc and Modern defences in detailed annotated games that are systematically arranged by variations. Against the Scandinavian defence the author usually chooses classical lines connected with d4 and Nf3. Against the Pirc and Modern defenses he analyzes mainly The Three-pawn attack 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 3.Nc3 g6 4.f4, or 1.e4 g6 2.d4 Bg7 3.Nc3 d6 4.f4.
