He presents now an expanded and updated 1.d4 repertoire - this volume deals mainly with the Catalan, which is Avrukhs favourite opening. Analyzed are positions arising after 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.g3 - the main part deals with the Catalan 3..d5, also examined are Bogo-Indian with 3...Bb4+, and Benoni systems after 3...c5. The book contains both analysis and word explanations. Boris Avrukh is a grandmaster from Israel. He is an Olympiad gold medallist and analysis partner of World Championship finalists.
