Karlsbad (in Czech Karlovy Vary) 1929 was one of the strongest tournament of the time. 22 players, the winner was Nimzowitsch 15 of 21, ahead of Capablanca, Spielmann, Rubinstein, Becker, Vidmar, Euwe, Bogoljubov etc. The book is a reprint of the 1930 edition and contains 30 annotated games, article about the tournament and corsstable.
